The Application

YO Radio Management Inc. needs your support for a Pop Alternative Radio Station to serve Winnipeg. The Station will serve the 18-34 demographic primarily with a format that features Alternative Rock, Alternative Pop, New Music, World Music and emerging artists.

The Music

The proposed station would be a Pop Alternative station featuring artists such as Stone Temple Pilots, Eminem, Blind Melon, Sinead O'Connor, Our Lady Peace, Offspring, Sloan, Nickelback, Simple Plan, Kelly Clarkson, Nirvana, Arcade Fire, The Cult and K-OS.

Programming

This will be a highly interactive radio station with All Request Programming, daily Top Countdowns and New Music Challenges, all inviting your instant input over the internet. We will encourage listners to participate directly in what we play and do every day.
